I have always looked at the world as one gigantic photograph.
Around every corner there was something to take a picture of. As a child I ran around
with my grandfather's hat with the word, " PRESS" taped on to it, and a little brownie
camera hanging off of my neck. The best pictures of my life probably were taken then,
but, unfortunately there was no film in the camera.
Eventually I graduated into a 110 , then finally a 35 mm. My first camera
was an old Konica that I mowed grass and babysat the whole summer to
earn money for.
I went to college for Commercial Art Photography and I haven't put the
camera down yet. The man whom I love has not only captured my soul
but also captures the world through his eyes with his camera.
Through my eyes, I see photography as art. A dance of light upon the
earth painted just the right way waiting ... just waiting for someone to
immortalize it as a photograph.
I shoot mainly with a Nikon D100, Nikon D70, Nikon 4004, F4S, Canon
AE1 (that's my oldie but goodie). Coming shortly the Nikon D200....
I am a mom of two beautiful children. Which neither are camera shy as you will see!
John Schrum
Though Susan is from New York, I am from Missouri. In my
youth, I grew up in Europe and in Texas. In my early 20's, I
experienced life in Mexico working for newspapers. I have had
the opportunities to do sports photography for Greater Image,
worked as an Aerial Photographer for Walker Associates and
freelanced for over 20 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the
University of Texas, and being affiliated with organizations like
the Professional Photographers of America; the regional chapter
of the Professional Photographers' Society of New York and the
Hudson Valley Professional Photographers Society keep
us up on trends and business. We are both members of the
Greater Shawangunk Community Alliance.

We believe that when photographing weddings, the most
important aspect to remember is to be almost invisible, The
more natural the shots the more heart warming and appealing
they will be. We are committed to providing our clients with the
